The Ashland University Library offers reference assistance in real time via Meebo live chat software (below). Live chat services are only available while a reference librarian is at the reference desk and otherwise available. If you initiate a live chat session and there is no response, the reference librarian is either not at the reference desk or is at the reference desk but currently engaged in assisting another person. In such cases we advise that you try again in 10-15 minutes or, alternatively, send us your query by e-mail to the reference staff at library@ashland.edu.
The live chat service is intended first and foremost for students, faculty, staff, and other Ashland University-affiliated persons. Non-affiliated persons seeking assistance will be aided on a case-by-case basis.
